Our History in NI since 2020
Dedication and Achievement
Action for People NI is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering communities through education and resources. Although a young organisation in Northern Ireland we draw on the experience of our partner organization Action for People CIC who have a proven track record in managing Local Healthwatch, Short Breaks, and Support with Confidence programs. During the pandemic, we played a crucial role in assisting Action for People CIC in supporting key workers across the UK, establishing a robust foundation for our mission. Today, our primary focus is on equipping individuals with the skills and confidence needed to enter the workforce, while championing support for those who require assistance to live independently. Together, we build resilient, inclusive communities that foster personal growth and promote social inclusion.

Not every job requires a fistful of A levels or a Degree. Yes, most employers will want you to train to do the job they are offering but your valuable life skills can be enough as a foundation. If you can read, write and want to work we can help!

Personal Assistants At Home
Across the UK Action for people CIC is excited to announce the launch of its new Flagship scheme for independent PAs. Food & Hospitality Industry
If you like the atmosphere of restaurants, bars and hotels then we have some short inclusive courses that will help you apply for jobs in the industry. It can be hard work serving tables and working behind a bar or working in a kitchen. We can help you obtain a Hygiene certificate and do Safeguarding training so that an employer can immediately use you in a customer facing environment.

We have delivered training to Local Authorities, Personal Assistants, individuals and those working in the care sector or to workplaces."
